Happy Friday! Fridays are always good, especially after a lengthy week at school/college/work. So now I have a small post on my favourites 'lately'.. I can't say they are May favourites because it is June and I can't say they are June favourites because it is only the 5th, and to be perfectly honest I don't know how long they have been favourites for. So lets just say Friday Favourites because one thing I am sure of is that it's Friday. Ok..
I would love to be one of those people who are blessed with flawless skin, but that's not the case! I have never had 'bad' skin as such, but it goes through many phases where it's not particulary 'good' either. When I was in high school, mainly when I was about 13/14, I used to suffer with lots of small spots on my chin and forehead. Over the past couple of years it has calmed down a lot, and I suffer mainly with blackheads and pimples under the surface, and redness (which can luckily be covered with makeup!). But like I said, it still goes through phases where I just have breakouts! Over the years I have tried a million and one different brands and types of face washes/scrubs/creams.. But the only that I have found never fails me is Dermalogica.
I had never had any products from Lush before, but this year I have ended up with four bubble bars, six bath bombs and two lip scrubs. No complaints given though! I have used one so far and I loved it. I have a lot of respect for Lush as a company, as each product is handmade, and completely against animal testing, which I think is brilliant. So, this will be a very long post if I keep talking, so I am going to get started!
So, I'm blonde haired and blue eyed, so you can probably guess the rest; I'm fair skinned too! For me, this is something I am not keen on, and in my opinion, EVERYTHING LOOKS BETTER WITH A TAN! I envy those people who can pull off the pale look, and have gorgeous creamy skin. Me on the other hand, well I look like a walking white bed sheet without false tan.
After college today I went for a small spot of shopping with my mum to 'pick up a few bits'.. But we can never help ourselves and always end up buying things we don't particularly 'need'!! I have bought some gorgeous little items today, so this is gonna be a big post. I will talk about each one individually so if you don't want to read about one of them, just scroll down! Enjoy xo
Being so much of a beauty junkie, I have tried a whole bunch of face washes, exfoliators, cleansers, you know, all those things. I usually go for names branded as being 'good', things like Garnier or Neutrogena! I have never had 'bad' skin as such, but I can't remember the last time it was fully clear, there is always at least one spot.. Super annoying.
Today, I wanted to share with you a product which I truly believe in; Perfectil. These things are amazing! They are vitamins to enhance the growth of your hair and nails, and help to give you clear skin. I am so happy I decided to try them.
Today, I wanted to do a post about my holy grail body butter/moisturiser. I have tried all sorts of expensive and middle of the range creams, but this one is by far the best yet! I first discovered it last Christmas as a cute stocking filler from my little Nanny! Since, I have been obsessed.
